The New England Malawi Association (NEMA) is a non profit association for Malawians living in the New England area of the USA. Current memberships is drawn from Massachussetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. We also have open invitation to Malawians outside of the New England borders and we also have strong relashionships with other associations that are similar in nature. As members of NEMA sharing originality and culture, our goal is to draw strength from each other and create synergy when neccesary to make make a difference Apart from interacting, we also engange in projects to support the needy when the need arises. Previous such endeavors include the Malawi hunger drive and the Karonga disaster support drive

Mission Statement

The mission of the New England Malawi Association is to be the premiere entity that engages and serves the people and friends of Malawi through networking, socializing and providing various means of support in New England.

Our goals are;

• To assist and support members in times of need and hardships.
• Provide useful information to Malawians on all sorts of opportunities.
• Provide a social forum for community members
